Mahindra’s designing team had good hands in the exterior look of the KUV 100. The designing of the front and the complementing back bumper adds the sporty features to the car. The side profile looks neat and the aerodynamically designed wheels and the exterior suits a jaggy drive and long distance travelling. The exterior designing is a way forward for the other new SUV’s of Indian make.

Interior offerings

The interior of the Mahindra KUV 100 complements the exterior designing in its cabin, upholstery and dashboard designing. The entire seating arrangements have enough leg room and head room, with a bench type front seat and the foldable back seat and good boot space. The dashboard gets the gear knob this time and a pull type hand brake is an added feature. Apart from this, the meters and the infotainment system are driver centric with power steering and the smart app features like the blue tooth connectivity. The interior of the Mahindra KUV 100 is a duplicate of its very own TUV in terms of quality and the features. Mahindra have had considered cost and time in defining the interior of this KUV 100.

 Engine and the safety features

The on-road and off-road travelling gets easy with the presence of the powerful “falcon” aluminum-block engines, which includes a 1.2-liter three cylinder petrol (m Falcon G80) and a 1.2-liter three-cylinder diesel (m Falcon D75) engine coupled with a manual transmission system. The over powered petrol engine gives a higher power of  82 bhp when compared  with the diesel engine that produces a bit lesser power 77 bhp. Mahindra and Mahindra ensure the safety of the car and the passengers by providing the Anti-lock braking system and the dual airbags for all its trims. Mahindra KUV 100 can be driven away at a price range of Rs. 5-7 lakhs. Mahindra KUV 100 will face fierce competition from the Hyundai i-10 and the Swift.
